To All-

Welcome to the wonderful world of providing DJ entertainment for your event! By now you’ve probably figured out that “finding” a DJ isn’t too difficult; it’s the “selection” process that you may find a bit challenging. I hope that the time you invest here will assist you in making an informed decision on a crucial element in every successful event… music, or in my biased opinion… a great DJ! Throughout history, music has entertained royalty, moved Fred and Ginger, and perhaps invoked a first kiss. Your event will be a part of history, and I would like to be a part of it. Whether it’s a corporate gathering, a prom, or my personal favorite wedding receptions, retaining my services as your DJ will be a sound investment. I have the proven ability to infuse your personal style, meld it together with a harmonious balance of professionalism and personality, and create an event like no other. It can’t be said enough, but there are absolutely no “do-overs” in this industry. DJing an event that has your heart, soul, time, and money on the line would be an honor and a privilege. Thank you to my family, friends, and clients, for giving me the opportunity to do what I love!

Best Regards,

DJ Superunknown

Keep Southern Rock Alive!

An old story...

On was on my way to Atlanta via the Minneapolis-St. Paul Intl. Airport and I was sitting at my gate waiting to board when I spotted the current lead singer for Lynyrd Skynyrd, Mr. Johnny Van Zant. He was sitting there minding his own business and I was amazed that the people sitting around him didn’t recognize him. So I’m like fuck it, I’m gonna introduce myself---this dude is Southern Rock Royalty! FYI, his oldest brother RIP Mr. Ronnie Van Zant founded Skynyrd and his other brother Mr. Donnie Van Zant sings for .38 Special. Anyway I walked up said my name is Rheo and he said great to meet ya my name is John. I asked if he was willing to pose for a picture and he was cool (see pic). After that I thanked him for the time and went to piss and board my plane.

Later…

I found my seat and I was seated next to a National Guardsman that was eventually deploying to Iraq, the stewardess comes up and tells the Guardsman that there is a passenger in first class that would like to trade seats with him. So the dude gets up and the guy who switched seats with him ends up being Johnny Van Zant! So I ask him why he did switched, and he said that it’s out of respect for his (Guardsman’s) potential sacrifice. Anyway, long story short I got to shoot the shit with him the whole flight and he was just a really down to earth guy who keeps Southern Rock alive!
